My name is Lewis Grant-Smith, also known as "Lew" in the South Bank eSports Team. I am currently a moderator in the discord server as well as being the current CSGO team leader. I have been actively involved in this team for over a year now, whether that be competing on national university gaming platforms like NUEL, or through participating in the southbankelephants twitch streams. My role as CSGO team leader involved learning strategies, coaching members of the team to become stronger players and just playing with the team fun. I look to put my experience and interest in eSports and games into use by becoming the President of the team.
If I were to become President of the eSports Team I would try to explore the possibilities of in-house LSBU tournaments and collaborations suggestion is for an LSBU-only sim racing league with additional members from the Karting Society. Other goals for the club are expanding the number of new members, and increasing the eSports Team's social media presence. I would like to improve the discord server and make it more interactive by adding new channels. Expanding into other casual activities such as card games, chess or playing skribble is another aim I hope to fulfill. Thank you for your time!
