Georgina Firmin is the Commercial Director at the London Academy of Music and
Dramatic Arts (LAMDA), one of the world’s leading drama schools, higher education
provider and awarding bodies. With over two decades of experience in commercial
development, Georgina has been instrumental in shaping LAMDA's global footprint,
particularly in expanding its Exams division to over 45 countries as well as fostering
valuable international partnerships that align with the institutions strategic objectives.
Prior to LAMDA, Georgina co-founded b2b partnerships, a consultancy dedicated to
driving the growth and diversification of independent membership organisations and
NGOs globally.
Beyond her professional endeavours, Georgina actively contributes to the
community as a member of the Hammersmith & Fulham Enterprise Board. In this
capacity, she lends her expertise to support the implementation of the Industrial
Strategy to shape Hammersmith & Fulham as the best place to work and live.
Georgina is passionate about the role of higher education in societal progression.
She strongly advocates for the importance of Students' Unions within the higher
education ecosystem, acknowledging their significant contributions to enriching the
academic experience, enhancing career prospects, and safeguarding student well-
being, and is grateful to be able to support the work of South Bank Students’ Union
through her role as Trustee.
